Four Bryan police officers responded to a disturbance Saturday night in a neighborhood east of Kemp elementary school. Nathaniel Phillips was arrested following a chase that ended when his SUV struck a tree near Neal elementary school. Phillips, who was booked for the 27th time in 33 years, is held in lieu of bonds totaling $110,000 dollars. That’s after the arresting officer told the judge that Phillips spent 300 days in jail serving three of the DWI convictions at the same time.
