Bryan Police Arrests On Domestic And Family Violence Charges

A Bryan man goes in jail for the sixth time since September 2025 and the fourth time since January 27th of this year. Bryan police arrest reports show Forrest Crump was arrested for domestic violence assault causing bodily injury and unlawful restraint by preventing the victim from leaving her apartment. Online jail records show Crump was arrested four times between September 2025 and May 2026 for possession of a controlled substance and in January 2026 for misdemeanor theft. Crump, who went to jail last Thursday (June 11), the day after his 28th birthday, was released Saturday after posting bonds totaling $13,000.

Three Bryan police officers respond to the report of a disturbance Sunday morning (June 14) at a hotel where a man went to jail on seven charges. BPD arrest reports show 33 year old Todd Martin is accused of misdemeanor family violence assault, terroristic threat of a household member, unlawful restraint, and misdemeanor possession of marijuana. Martin was also picked up on three warrants, two for possessing drugs and one for evidence tampering. The arrest reports say as the victim tried to drive away, Martin jumped on the victim’s Jeep but he was knocked to the ground. After Martin was checked out, he was taken to jail where he was held as of June 16 in lieu of bonds totaling $65,000 dollars.
