Bryan Police Arrest On Charges Of Kidnapping And Violating A Protection Order

An ex-boyfriend is arrested by Bryan police on charges of kidnapping and violating a protection order.

The BPD arrest report says on April 23rd, the victim was grabbed by 31 year old Jacoby Woodard of Bryan and was forced into his car.

A detective used video from surveillance cameras showing the victim getting out of Woodard’s car and walking to a shopping center.

The victim then got in a vehicle belonging to a businessowner, who took the victim home.

Woodard, who was booked for the 29th time into the Brazos County jail on April 30th, remains held as of May 1st in lieu of bonds totaling $150,000 dollars.

Online records show he is awaiting four criminal trials in Brazos County district court on charges of felony burglary of a habitation, felony publish or threat to publish intimate material, felony family violence assault, and misdemeanor possession of marijuana.
