Bryan Police Arrest Four Armed Robbery Suspects Shortly After Receiving Information From The Victim’s Neighbor

Two men and two women from San Antonio were arrested following a home invasion robbery in Bryan Thursday morning.

Officer Kelley McKethan says a neighbor near the victim’s home on Antone Street, which is south of Sue Haswell Park, reported seeing the group drive away in two vehicles.

Officers found and stopped both vehicles on Texas Avenue near Dodge.

All the stolen property was recovered and returned to the owner. And officers also found undisclosed drugs and weapons.

Three of the suspects are accused of entering an unlocked home on Antone Street. One held the victim at gunpoint while two others took undisclosed items, and the fourth person was outside.

The four who were arrested on aggravated robbery and drug related charges were 29 year old Damion Cravens, 22 year old Matthew Nicholson, 22 year old Johanna Kingston, and 21 year old Sally Countess.

Cravens and Nicholson were also arrested for unlawful carrying a firearm.

And Kingston was arrested for driving with an invalid license.

Additional information from Bryan police:

On March 29, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. Officers responded to a burglary of habitation in progress in the 1000 block of Antone St. in Bryan. The caller advised that three to four individuals were fleeing a neighbor’s residence with property in their hands. The caller gave a description of two vehicles that fled the scene.

Investigators talked with the 27-year-old victim who stated that three suspects entered their unlocked residence. One suspect held him at gunpoint while two other suspects took various items and then fled in two vehicles. The victim was not injured during the Robbery.

Patrol saturated the area and were able to locate both vehicles on Texas Ave near Dodge. Patrol made a traffic stop and both vehicles stopped near Texas Ave and Howard St. All stolen property was recovered and returned to the owner. Drugs and weapons were also recovered. Information leads investigators to believe that at least one of the suspects knew one of the residents and this was an isolated incident.
