A Bryan man goes to jail after he is seen taking a sledgehammer to the Texas Avenue median in downtown Bryan.
The Bryan police arrest report says traffic in the northbound lanes between William Joel Bryan Parkway and 26th Street were blocked by broken pieces of the median, 15 sledgehammers, and a parked pickup.
The arrest report does not say if the man was asked why he was there. And there was no reference to the man being under the influence.
34 year old Edward Garza, who was charged with obstructing the road and yelling profanities at spectators, remains jailed as of January 3rd in lieu of bonds totaling $2,365 dollars.
