Press release from the City of Bryan:

The City of Bryan and Bryan ISD will release the new episode of “Bryan Living and Learning”, their in-depth television show. The most recent episode is once again hosted by Bryan’s Communications Specialist Allen Bruggman and Bryan ISD’s Communications Director, Sandy Farris.

The two hosts introduce a variety of stories during Episode 28. The City’s feature story is the Be Green In Bryan segment featuring a biofuels plant in Bryan’s Business Park. The plant is a research facility that starts the process of turning plant mass into gasoline. The City also has stories about the annual Guns & Hoses charity baseball game and a look at the Back to School Event put on by the Concerned Black Men of the Brazos Valley. The last three stories are on the topping out ceremony at the new Texas A&M Health Science Center in Bryan, a preview of the upcoming Ziegfest concert at Lake Bryan featuring Clint Black and a look at some problems the local 911 call center has recently faced.

Bryan ISD checks in with special “back to school” stories. The first story is a look at a convocation ceremony where all the teachers get pumped up for the upcoming year. The ISD also continues with a feature story about the new principals at the district. Their final two stories are about a town hall that was held to inspire students to perform well on the TAKS test and a look at the first day of school at various schools across the district.
