A Bryan man who admitted in Brazos County district court in January to violating probation after admitting to a stabbing that took place in 2012 returned to jail on February 24th to await transport to a state prison.

Court records show 48 year old James Krueger and the district attorney’s office reached a plea agreement on the probation violation that includes a two year sentence.

Prosecutors filed a probation violation motion in February 2025 accusing Krueger of failing to appear for drug and/or alcohol testing 11 times and failed to pay fees related to his probation.

Krueger was convicted of stabbing a co-worker following a Christmas party in the hand and leg with a folding pocket knife.
