A Bryan man is returning to prison after admitting to two more thefts.

45 year old Joshuah Michael and the Brazos County district attorney’s office reached a plea agreement that includes a five year sentence for felony theft of property with two or more previous convictions.

He was also ordered to pay restitution totaling $94.50.

The restitution is tied to taking a package off the front porch of a Bryan home in December 2024. The package contained a 12 pack of non-alcoholic seltzer valued at $39.78 and a September 2024 shoplifting at the west Bryan Walmart where he took a watch and a 100 foot strip of LED lights with a combined value of $54.76.

Online court records say Michael was sentenced in November 2021 to three years in prison after pleading guilty to felony theft with prior convictions, unauthorized use of a motor vehicle, theft of a firearm, and possession of a firearm by a felon.

And in July 2019, he was sentenced to 15 months in a state jail for felony theft with two or more convictions, two counts of unauthorized use of a motor vehicle, and a probation violation for possession of a controlled substance.
