For the fourth time since April, a Bryan man is in jail.

25 year old David Saucier is accused of starting a high speed chase early Monday morning along Highway 6 near the Brazos-Robertson County line.

DPS trooper Jimmy Morgan says Saucier was caught after his truck rear-ended another pickup on the freeway under the Old Reliance/MLK bridge.

Saucier was taken to jail after receiving medical treatment. The driver of the other truck was not hurt, and his passenger was treated for cuts and bruises.

Court records show Saucier has been arrested 11 times since 2006. Saucier was out on bond from a July arrest for public intoxication, a June arrest for possession of a controlled substance, and an April arrest for making a terroristic threat.

Jimmy Morgan visits with WTAW’s Bill Oliver.
