Bryan Fire Department investigators report a local man has died after sustaining severe burns.
The victim, 85 year old Milton Paul, had burns over 90 percent of body after starting a fire in a charcoal barbeque.
Fire Marshall William Bouse credits a man across the street who saw what happened and sprayed Paul with a fire extinguisher.

Bouse says they’re waiting for lab results on what was used to start the fire. A reminder was also issued to use charcoal lighter fluid and as recommended.
