A Bryan man is arrested on charges of giving a Doberman Pincher Xanax and T-H-C.

The vet treating the 11 month old dog told Bryan police it has a good chance of surviving after ingesting the drugs on Sunday night.

The owner, who was out of state, left the dog with a friend.

The friend’s roommate told officers according to the BPD arrest report he gave the dog T-H-C mixed with peanut butter because the dog was acting reckless.

Three hours later, after the dog was throwing up and acting lethargic, he gave the dog one-sixteenth of a bar of Xanax and took the dog to a vet.

19 year old William Shirres Richardson, who was arrested on an animal cruelty charge, is out of jail after posting an $8,000 dollar bond.
