Bryan Man Arrested for DWI after Striking Ambulance

A drunk driver who struck an ambulance was treated by the medics in the ambulance for minor injuries before being arrested.

According to the College Station Police arrest report, 30 year-old Constantino Perez failed to yield the right of to the emergency vehicle by not pulling to the side and coming to a completely stop. Instead, his vehicle struck the rear bumper of the ambulance which had its sirens and emergency lights activated.

After being checked out by medics and failing field sobriety tests, Perez was arrested for DWI with prior convictions.

According to online jail records, it is his third drunk driving charge in six years.
