A Bryan man admits in Brazos County district court to crimes that took place in 2021, 2023, and 2024.

Online court records show that last Friday (March 7), 31 year old Randy Graves pleaded guilty to felony family violence assault with prior convictions. The assault took place two years before on the same day of his plea.

Graves was sentenced to five years in prison. It will be his second trip to prison after pleading guilty in October 2014 to felony aggravated assault with a deadly weapon and attempting to take a weapon from an officer.

During last Friday’s court appearance, Graves also pleaded guilty to misdemeanor possession of marijuana in 2024 and misdemeanor causing an accident in 2021.
