Bryan ISD School Board Raises Substitute Educator Pay For The First Time In Three Years

For the first time in three years, substitute educators in Bryan ISD are getting a pay raise.

That’s after BISD school board members on Monday approved recommendations from human resources director Carol Cune.

The $15 dollar per day increase applies to all but preferred and permanent substitute educators.

Cune says that will be part of the pitch from BISD’s third party company that is already recruiting subs for next year.
