Bryan school board members at their last meeting approved spending $170,000 dollars from a bond issue approved in 2005 to resurface the track at Davila Middle School.

Assistant superintendent Kevin Beesaw says the goal is to get six to eight years of use.

Beesaw says the resurfacing could be completed this summer.
