
The President of the Bryan school board says don’t read anything into action at this week’s meeting giving the authority to sell the Hammond-Oliver Human Sciences campus to any buyer.
Maritza Hoffman says at this week’s meeting, the board’s attorney reported time has expired on a condition prohibiting the district from selling to anybody in the medical profession.
Hoffman says that information was needed as the board later this fall considers realignment and rezoning changes throughout Bryan ISD.
The distict acquired the property in 1993 as a high school for health science and health profession classes.
