Bryan High School Wins State Appeal

The Bryan school district has won an appeal from the Texas Education Agency. Spokeswoman Sandy Farris says it allows Bryan High to become an academically acceptable school.

The appeal dealt with the number of black students at Bryan High who graduated two years ago. Farris says based on TAKS scores alone, Bryan High would have designated academically recognized.
