Bryan High-Consolidated HS Baseball Playoffs Includes Mayoral Challenge

This week’s Bryan High-Consolidated High School baseball playoff series has more at stake than just a berth in the state tournament.

Bryan Mayor Jason Bienski threw down the gauntlet Wednesday when he called College Station Mayor Nancy Berry on WTAW’s The Infomaniacs.

Whoever loses will have to wear the opposing team’s t-shirt and provide a hot dog cookout for the winning city council.

Berry pointed out Bienski’s father, Pete,  is the superintendent at Mumford, where game one will be played Wednesday night.

Games two and three, if necessary, are in Brenham.

You can listen to the playoff games on 1620 WTAW and online at wtaw.com and radioaggieland.com.
