The Bryan City Council voted Tuesday to enter a partnership with Brazos County to build a “next generation” industrial park.

The new park will sit on 191 acres just northwest of Highway 6 and FM 2818 just north of the Bryan city limits.
Conlee says the new partnership is expected to close the land deal within the next week.
The park will focus on bringing in light industry, not “smokestack” type operations, according to Conlee.
The new industrial park is expected to be open for business sometime in the next two years.
