The Bryan city council spent almost three hours behind closed doors Tuesday morning, then emerged without taking action.
Mayor Jason Bienski was asked what went on, considering the council was not scheduled to meet this week.
Bienski says the council discussed matters they didn’t have time to address during their regularly scheduled meeting last week.
He said he couldn’t comment on why whatever was discussed could not have waited until the council’s next regular meeting.
Items listed for possible discussion behind closed doors included economic development proposals. Two are located in the biocorridor, the Atlas Town Center and Kalon Biotherapeutics. The latter is also an item slated for discussion during Wednesday’s Texas A&M System board of regents meeting.
