A majority of Bryan City Council members enthusiastically supported economic development incentives for a local manufacturer.
Toyo Ink is considering a $6 million dollar expansion that would create 20 new jobs, adding $1 million dollars in payroll plus full benefits.
In exchange for the 20,000 square foot expansion, Toyo has asked the city to charge half the $20,000 fee for a building permit and give up $13,000 in property tax revenue over the next five years.
