Bryan City Council Agrees To Consider Requests From Castle Heights Neighborhood For The Second Time This Year

For the second time this year, the Bryan city council will consider requests for flood control and other improvements in a neighborhood east of the freeway and south of Highway 21.

Councilman Prentiss Madison, whose district includes Castle Heights, was one of two who made the request.

Also making the request was councilman Buppy Simank.

City manager Kean Register made the argument for comparing projects requested in Castle Heights to the rest of the city.

The council was told to expect the report in October or November.

Castle Heights residents have been asking the council for improvements for five years.
