Bryan Broadcasting’s Mary Mike Hatcher Elected To The Texas Radio Hall Of Fame

Bryan Broadcasting senior account consultant and community volunteer Mary Mike Hatcher has been elected to the Texas Radio Hall of Fame.

She will be among 15 selected by radio professionals, friends, family members, colleagues, and fans who will be inducted November 3rd at the new Texas Museum of Broadcasting and Communications in Kilgore.

Mary Mike, who is the company’s first inductee, has been at Bryan Broadcasting since earning her degree in journalism and radio-television-film at Sam Houston State in 1977.

She is a current board member of the Bryan/College Station chamber of commerce and MSC OPAS.

The 2013 chairwoman of the Texas Association of Broadcasters board of directors and 2008 Jefferson Award recipient is also a lifetime member of the Brazos County Crime Stoppers board of directors and the Houston Livestock Show & Rodeo.

Other organizations she has supported include the Texas A&M University Diplomatic Corps, Leadership Texas, St. Joseph Foundation, Junior League of Bryan-College Station, American Business Women’s Association, and The Woman’s Club of Bryan-College Station.

Mary Mike has also been recognized as a “You’re The Tops” honoree, The Prenatal Clinic; finalist, Woman to Watch award, Bryan-College Station Business & Professional Women’s Club; member, Circle of Red, American Heart Association; lifetime alumni, Sam Houston State University; and in 2001 honoree was honored as a Girl Scout Woman of Distinction.
