Brick Running for District 14 State Rep

College Station resident and Blinn College history professor Blanche Brick has filed as a Republican to run for the District 14 seat in the Texas House of Representatives.

Dr. Blanche Brick announced today that she is seeking the required 500 signatures to file by petition as a candidate in the Republican primary for State District 14. Dr. Brick lists her key issues as Education, Community Protection and Development, and Transportation.

Her priorities in support of these issues will be fiscal responsibility, better allocation of existing resources, equal educational opportunities, health care, responsible preservation and development of natural resources, support for law enforcement and the courts, care for children and the elderly, support for the arts, libraries and museums, the alleviation of traffic congestion, and the maintenance of highways and parks.
