Room had to be made Tuesday at the parking lot of the Brazos Valley Food Bank for two Black Hawk helicopters.
Food Bank director Theresa Mangapora said the Texas department of emergency management delivered four pallets of ready to eat meals, known as MRE’s.
Mangapora said this is was in response to the request they made during last week’s winter storms.
She said it was “loud and exciting and we’re very very very grateful for all the people that made this happen for us.”
