The Brazos County Sheriff’s Office announced the results of a recent inspection of the Brazos County Detention Center by the Texas Commission on Jail Standards.
A press release from Sheriff Wayne Dicky says the jail remains in full compliance with the Texas Minimum Jail Standards. The inspection evaluates various areas of jail operations, including policies, procedures, documentation, facility conditions, and compliance with state requirements.
Sheriff Dicky said, “This accomplishment reflects the hard work, dedication, and professionalism of the men and women who serve at the Brazos County Sheriff’s Office. Our Detention Center staff perform a difficult and important job every day, and this successful inspection demonstrates the pride they take in maintaining the high standards expected of this office.”
He thanks the men and women of the detention center for their commitment to providing a safe and secure environment. Dick adds that corrections is a challenging profession requiring patience, integrity, and dedication. While most of the work happens behind the scenes, it remains essential to the agency’s safety and success.
