Brazos County Health District Begins Observance Of National Public Health Week On Saturday

Sara Mendez and Kristen Ramseier of the Brazos County Health District visit with WTAW’s Bill Oliver about this year’s schedule of events for observing National Public Health Week.

Activities begin with the district’s “Celebrate Your Health” event on Saturday, March 30, from 10 a.m.-1 p.m. There will be health screenings and a variety of family friendly events at the BCHD office in downtown Bryan at Texas and William Joel Bryan.

And from April 1-4, there are free immunizations for children who don’t have health insurance, free food handler classes for the first 50 who sign up, and five dollar private water well testing.
