Brazos County GOP Meets Saturday To Collect Resolutions & Convention Nominees

Thanks to the Texas redistricting lawsuit, there are changes in the process of local party politics.

Paul Regier of the Brazos County Republican Party says there are no precinct conventions this year.

In its place is a meeting Saturday afternoon if you’re interested in being a delegate to upcoming conventions and/or want to submit a resolution.

Saturday’s meeting starts at 1 p.m. at the Best Western in Bryan.

Regier says those who voted in the last Brazos County Republican Party primary or swears by oath are eligible to participate.

Regier says the county convention will be held April 14th at a location still to be determined.

Paul Regier visits with WTAW’s Bill Oliver.
