The Leon County sheriff’s office announces the capture of a fugitive wanted in Brazos County.

Sheriff Kevin Ellis posted on Facebook Saturday the details of a joint operation that led to finding Hollis Lane Willingham, who faces numerous parole violations and charges.

Willingham was spotted on a county road about four miles west of Normangee. The sheriff says Willingham drove a Suburban onto private property and drove through several fences before getting the SUV stuck.

Willingham then ran until he was caught by a DPS trooper.

Ellis says other agencies participating in the joint operation were the Brazos County sheriff’s office, agents with the DPS criminal investigation division, and the U.S. Marshal’s Lone Star fugitive task force.
