The Brazos County district attorney’s office and a Bryan man reach a plea agreement in five criminal cases that all took place last year. 51 year old Gregory Ezelle was sentenced to 25 years after pleading guilty to not registering as a sex offender following a sexual assault that took place 20 years ago in the Texas panhandle. Ezelle also admitted to misdemeanor family violence assault, a felony theft of more than $2,500 dollars, and felony possession of methamphetamine. And he pleaded no contest to burglary of a home where court records show that case was dismissed. Jail records also show Ezelle is being held on warrants from Brazoria County on charges of assault causing bodily injury and driving with an invalid license with prior convictions.

A College Station man who appeared in Brazos County district court last Thursday (June 26) to plead guilty to drunk driving and two counts of animal cruelty has already completed serving jail time for those offenses. But online jail records show 63 year old Victor Jones remains held for an undisclosed parole violation. Jones was sentenced to 150 days for leaving behind two dogs on a Brazos County road south of Millican and 45 days for the DWI. The jail records also show he is held for his sixth parole violation in the last nine years.
