A Bryan man who has admitted to stalking two ex-girlfriends has been sentenced to eight years in prison. The Brazos County district attorney’s office reports a plea agreement also requires 39 year old Blake Joffrion to stay away from both victims for the rest of his life. Joffrion has been in jail since January of last year, after Bryan police arrested him for calling the second victim 50 times and posted fake profiles and messages on social media. All that happened seven months after Joffrion was placed on probation for contacting the first victim five times in violation of a bond in a family violence case.

A Houston man is headed to prison after admitting to drunk driving in Brazos County. 58 year old Ronnie Freeman admitted to his third DWI this week in Brazos County district court and was sentenced to four years. According to the Bryan police arrest report from last August, another motorist alerted 9-1-1 to a pickup truck on the freeway that was weaving. Breath alcohol tests measured more than one and a half times the legal limit at .132 and .139. According to the plea agreement, the driver has no right to appeal.
