4 p.m. update:
Brazos County sheriff Chris Kirk says the courthouse and surrounding side streets remain closed as they’re waiting for bomb sniffing dogs to arrive to do a detailed search.
Kirk says no devices were found following a visual search.
The sheriff says the phone call was made to the courthouse main switchboard.
He says the evacuation went well, although a few employees had not been notified and were still in the building when the first search took place.
During the evacuation and two searches, investigators began the process of tracing the call in an attempt to determine its source.
