Future construction at the Brazos County administration building may mean a new location to hold county commission meetings.

Commissioner Bentley Nettles brought up a public safety concern during the commission’s September 16th meeting.

Nettles shared that his wife was in a shuttle bus at Bush airport when the bus was hit by a load of construction rebar.

Pending the replacement of the exterior of the administration building, Nettles said “I am always leery of walking in around construction. So I want to make sure that if we have construction on this building we made even consider moving our commissioners court to somewhere else so the public can have safe access.”
