One of the men indicted in the murder of a Bryan man in October 2020 returns to jail. 27 year old Eric Voshon Davis of College Station was arrested by the Bryan police department’s directed deployment team on Saturday (December 6). The BPD arrest report does not say why Davis is accused of violating his $100,000 dollar bond. Davis was also charged with removing his electronic monitoring device. There is an arrest warrant for another man, 34 year old Jordan Bruce of Bryan, in the death of Roderick Morrison. A trial is pending for a third man charged with aggravated assault with a deadly weapon, 43 year old Cochise Hickey of Brenham. Hickey pleaded guilty in February 2025 with robbery and was sentenced to 25 years in prison.
Three Bryan police officers wound up in municipal court last Friday morning (December 5) to deal with someone who was misbehaving in the courtroom. The BPD arrest report says a 58 year old woman, who denied being under the influence of crack cocaine, was swearing within earshot of the judge and citizens waiting in the lobby. After she was arrested for public intoxication and disorderly conduct, she bit one of the officers on his hand and spit on a second officer. That led to additional charges against Theodora Shepherd of assaulting and harassing public servants and possessing crack cocaine and drug paraphernalia. As of December 8, Shepherd remains jailed in lieu of bonds totaling $40,000 dollars on the assault, harassment, and drug charges. Personal recognizance bonds promising her return to appear to court were posted on the municipal court charges of disorderly conduct-language, public intoxication, and possessing drug paraphernalia.
