Bombers fall again to Snakes

The Brazos Valley Bombers are probably just fine that they are done for the year with the Coppell Copperheads. Last night at Brazos Valley Ballpark, the Bombers lost their third in a row to Coppell, 4-1.

Of the Bombers’ 24 games played this year, half of them have been against the Copperheads and Coppell won seven of those. They won’t play again in the regular season.

Instead, the Bombers bring the Acadiana Cane Cutters and the East Texas Pump Jacks heavy to the schedule. After two game tonight and tomorrow at Alexandria, the Bombers will meet Acadiana for the first time ever. Acadiana is in its first season in the TCL.

At 12-12, the Bombers finish third behind the Pump Jacks and Cane Cutters in the first-half standings.
