Jim Boeheim (BAY’-hym) has moved ahead of Bob Knight for second all-time among Division I men’s basketball coaches. Boeheim claimed his 903rd victory last night as Brandon Triche hit five three-pointers and scored a season-high 25 points to lead the Orange to a 78-53 win over Rutgers. Boeheim, trails only Duke’s Mike Krzyzewski, who has 940 victories after the Blue Devils beat Davidson 67-50.

Amber Alert Network Brazos Valley Hosting “Honk For The Missing” Public Awareness Event
On Thursday October 15, 2026, the Amber Alert Network Brazos Valley (AANBV) will conduct their 3rd annual Brazos Valley “Honk For The Missing” public awareness event. Over the last two years the organization has used it as an opportunity to shine a light on active missing children and adult cases from across the region. It serves as a reminder that every day there are families right here in our communities that don’t know where their loved ones are. AANBV will be at the intersection of Texas Avenue and Walton Drive in College Station from 12:00pm to 1:00pm on Thursday to raise awareness about current long term missing person cases and trends in the Brazos Valley. Chuck Fleeger, the Executive Director of AANBV, sat down with WTAW to discuss the event and the importance of the Amber Alert system.
