Blue Bell ice cream announces a voluntary recall.
A Blue Bell employee discovered incorrect packaging on two half gallons while restocking a retailer.
The recall involves what Blue Bell describes as “a limited quantity” of Moo-llennium Crunch that were packaged in Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough cartons with a Moo-llennium Crunch lid.
The recall was issued due to almonds, walnuts, and pecans in the containers that were mistakenly packaged at the Brenham factory.
As of today (August 22), Blue Bell reported no illnesses or adverse reactions and the mistaken packaging has been limited to the two half gallon containers.
