Some history was made this week at the home campus of Blinn College in Brenham.
At the invitation of Blinn President Dan Holt, around the same table were the Chancellor of the A&M System, the Presidents of A&M and the Health Sciences Center, city and county leaders from Brazos and Washington counties, and Blinn’s Board of Trustees.
The common theme of Tuesday night’s gathering was the economic development partnership of all the public and private entities, specifically the growing biomedical industry.
Dr. Holt says the next step for Blinn is to look for more space in Brazos County, which he says could be in Bryan and/or College Station and could include A&M and private business and industry.
