Blinn College trustees are told the final fall enrollment number is the second highest since the pandemic at 18,362. That’s a district wide increase of 273 from the fall of 2024.

Vice chancellor Becky McBride reported a 17 percent increase or 434 more high school dual credit students and a 13 percent increase or 264 more students at the home campus in Brenham.

Chancellor Mary Hensley said in Brenham there were 60 more students in their engineering program, and Brenham students took advantage of new scholarships in athletics and e-sports.

For the 11th straight fall, enrollment dropped at Blinn’s campus in Bryan. The fall number in Bryan of 4,666 compares to 5,095 in 2024 and a high of more than 13,000 in 2014.
