The Bryan School District Board of Trustees put several spending requests under the microscope Monday. Four requests were all approved, though not all were unanimous.
Expanding the International Baccalaureate program to the INQUIRE Academy at Jane Long Middle School means an additional $25,000. Six board members approved proceeding with the expenditure. Martiza Hoffman, who supports the program, abstained from the vote because she wanted a month to study where she thought this stood in the district’s budget priorities:
