A proposal to make some changes to the dress code for Bryan ISD came before the Board of Trustees Monday night.

The changes being considered deal primarily with rules for piercings like nose studs and eyebrow loops, as well as regulations involving hair color.
The Board decided not to take action on the issue Monday night to allow more time for public comment and feedback from parents.
Farris says the changes, if passed, certainly would not create an “anything goes” type environment at the school.
The topic will come back before the Board at their July meeting, and is likely to be voted on before school starts in August.
