A bicyclist was hospitalized and ticketed after colliding with a vehicle in College Station Saturday night.
According to a CSPD news release, the collision at Welsh and Southwest Parkway was the result of the northbound bicyclist being struck by an eastbound vehicle that had the right of way.
The bicyclist, who was not wearing a helmet and riding a bicycle with only reflectors, was taken to a hospital with possible life threatening injuries.
At the time of the news release, alcohol was not believed to have been a factor, and the bicyclist was charged with an undisclosed traffic violation.
