B/CS Chamber Job Fair Wednesday

Business is expected to be brisk Wednesday afternoon when the Bryan/College Station Chamber of Commerce hosts its annual job fair.

The Chamber’s Jordan Meserole says that’s based on last year’s surprising turnout. There were almost 40 employers and nearly 1,000 job seekers.

Meserole says 42 employers are registered this year. They range from A&M and large corporations to mom and pop operations.

He reminds those looking for work to have lots of resumes, be professionally dressed, and be ready to shake hands with prospective employers.

Wednesday’s job fair goes from 1 until 5 p.m. at the Hilton in College Station.
