College Station Man Arrested for Assault and Endangering a Child

A College Station man returns to jail for the third time in less than two years. According to the CSPD arrest report, officers responded to a home on Navarro Dr. for a civil disturbance. The victim told officers she and her boyfriend got into a verbal argument and she wanted him to pack his bags and leave the apartment. 41 year-old Derrick Moss says the victim threw a lighter at his head and admitted to picking it up and throwing it back at her striking her in the chest. The victim says Moss also hit her with a TV remote while she was holding their 14-month old son. Moss was charged with assault family violence causing bodily injury and endangering a child. According to online jail records, Moss is held in lieu of bonds totaling $10,000.

CSPD Arrests One in Public Fight

College Station Police responded to the area of George Bush Drive and Coke Street on Monday following reports of a man being attacked. While responding, multiple callers reported two men fighting in the roadway. According to a CSPD Facebook post, officers detained both individuals and determined the altercation began on campus property and ended at George Bush Drive and Coke Street where the physical confrontation occurred. One suspect was arrested and charged with assault causing bodily injury and criminal mischief.
