A sheriff’s office news release says the inmate was caught on the roof of the building.
18 year old Ally Craig of College Station has been held since October 18th on a College Station charge of violating a protection order and a warrant from Guadalupe County for fraudulent use or possession of identifying information.
The sheriff’s news release also says they are reviewing procedures related to the incident. This is after the inmate had been in one of the recreation areas within the secured perimeter when she gained access to the roof just after 8 a.m.

On November 14, 2025, staff at the Brazos County Sheriff’s Office Detention Center were alerted to an inmate actively attempting to escape the facility.
The inmate had been in one of the recreation areas within the secured perimeter when she gained access to the roof of the building.
Detention staff responded quickly and safely took the inmate into custody on the roof without incident. At no point did the inmate leave the property.
A criminal investigation is underway, and the inmate has been charged with escape. Additionally, the Brazos County Sheriff’s Office is conducting a review of procedures related to the incident.
The inmate involved was in custody for violation of a bond/protective order and was also being held on a warrant out of Guadalupe County for fraudulent use or possession of identifying information.
