Astros Fall to Yankees; Rangers Down Twins for Second Straight Night

Giancarlo Stanton homered and knocked in four runs and Aaron Hicks hit a tie-breaking single in the eighth to lift the New York Yankees past the Houston Astros Wednesday night, 6-3.

New York has now won 10 of its last 13, while Houston has dropped three in a row.

The Stros will look to reverse those fortunes Thursday when they visit the Yanks at 12:05 on Zone 1150 AM & 93.7 FM.

The Texas Rangers picked up another win Wednesday night, downing the Minnesota Twins, 3-1.

Lefty John King grabbed the victory on the mound, tossing 2.2 scoreless innings of relief.

The two teams wrap up their four-game series Thursday afternoon at 12:10 in Minneapolis.
