Arrest reports from CSPD and BPD in the new cases accuses Sanchez of evading officers twice and two felony weapons charges. Sanchez, who remains in jail as of June 6 after he was caught May 30, is accused in Uvalde County of two counts of unauthorized use of a motor vehicle. The five pending trials involve four misdemeanor charges and felony possession of a firearm.

An arrest report by a Bryan police officer on patrol last Wednesday night describes following a car for three and a half miles in a slow speed pursuit. This began when the officer noticed the car was stopped partially in the driving lane and partially in the bike lane. That was followed by the car swerving and being unable to keep a constant speed. After the car ran the first of three stop signs, the officer activated his overhead lights. As the pursuit continued, the officer saw two children…ages seven and eight…stand on the seat and look through the rear window at the officer. The car stopped after veering off the road and going into a private yard. The driver was arrested for evading and child endangerment. 43 year old Vilma Herrera-Chavarria remains held as of Tuesday afternoon on those charges and also for immigration authorities.
