
The 37th time that a Bryan woman is booked in the Brazos County jail, it is on 11 warrants. College Station police also arrested the woman for attempting to steal an undisclosed amount of items from the H-E-B store at Jones Crossing. Online records show eight of the warrants involving 42 year old Julia Kemp are related to pending criminal cases in Brazos County district court. Kemp is awaiting five trials on felony theft charges that date back to last September. The online records also shows she has eight prior felony theft convictions that go back to 2010. As of July 23rd, Kemp is held in lieu of bonds totaling $93,000 dollars.
A citizen’s report to College Station police led to the arrest of a College Station man on a warrant from Harris County for felony criminal mischief. The CSPD arrest report says the citizen was following the man down Longmire Drive after seeing him tampering with packages that were delivered at several residences. The arrest of 32 year old Kareem Ibn-Ishaq comes 13 months after he admitted in Brazos County district court to burglary of a building and unauthorized use of a motor vehicle and was sentenced to 13 months in a state jail.
Twice in 17 days, a Hearne man lands in the Brazos County jail on charges of driving with an invalid license with four prior convictions. The latest arrest of 51 year old Michael Cox was in Bryan on Friday night (July 19). The arrest report from Bryan police says an officer stopped a minivan with registration that expired almost three years ago. This is after a sheriff’s deputy arrested Cox on July third. Cox is out of jail after posting cash bonds totaling $5,000 dollars from the two arrests.
