A College Station man who was in a managerial position at a local restaurant is accused of stealing job applications containing personal identity information. And his name is shared with two others who have been booked in the Brazos County jail. According to the arrest report from College Station police, officers spotted a car at four in the morning parked near the scene of a residential burglary that had taken place earlier in the night. The officer said he detained the driver because he appeared to be intoxicated. After the driver gave permission for the car to be searched, officers found two job applications and photos of a fake driver’s license, a real license, and a social security card. The driver first said those items were left behind by Uber customers. Then he said the items were from job applicants and he should not have taken the photos and applications outside the restaurant. 25 year old Michael Anthony Lopez is out of jail after posting a $5,000 dollar bond on a fraud charge. According to online records, this is his first time in the Brazos County jail. A 34 year old man with the same name has been in jail six times. And a 35 year old Michael Anthony Lopez has been booked seven times.
A Hearne man arrested by Bryan police on a vehicle burglary charge shares the same name with three others who have been booked in the Brazos County jail. Bryan police responded to a call at four in the morning from someone reporting his car was being stolen. Officers who were already in the neighborhood searching for a vehicle burglary suspect found the man about 30 minutes later outside an apartment complex about a mile away. According to the arrest report, the victim…who left a key in the ignition…identified the suspect with one hundred percent certainty, down to his skin tone and his dreadlocks. 17 year old Patrick D. Johnson of Hearne was jailed in lieu of a $5,000 dollar bond. This was his first booking, while 27 year old Patrick Demond Johnson has been booked once, 24 year old Patrick O’Neal Johnson has three bookings, and 40 year old Patrick Devon Johnson has been booked 31 times over a 17 year period.
