A loud noise complaint Wednesday night led to the arrest of a College Station man for leading A&M police on a chase last January that resulted in a crash resulting in four people going to the hospital. 24 year old Marcus Lozano is accused of evading arrest resulting in serious bodily injury. An officer in the Northgate district says he saw Lozano drive out of a parking lot onto University at a high rate of speed and running a red light. The patrolman then began his pursuit, following Lozano east on University then south on Texas. The officer says he slowed down due to Lozano swerving around other vehicles at a high rate of speed. Moments later at Texas and George Bush, Lozano’s SUV struck a second sport utility vehicle. Lozano was picked up on the A&M charge when he was arrested by College Station Police, who went to his apartment to check out the loud music then found illegal drugs. And he is also being held on an arrest warrant from Waller County, accused of a second DWI.

Another case investigated by University Police led to the arrest and termination of an A&M employee who is accused of giving away gasoline. An anonymous report was given from someone reporting seeing a university truck at a car wash in Bryan on repeated days at six in the morning. The former employee was seen exchanging gas cans with a man in another truck. According to the arrest report, the two men did this two or three times a week for about a month, totaling 120 gallons of gas pumped from Transportation Services. 62 year old Ernesto Gusmore Gonzales is out of jail after posting bond following his arrest for misdemeanor theft.
